What we collect

  • When you email us: your name, email address, and anything you choose to include in your message.
  • When you visit the site: our hosting provider automatically records technical information (such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time) in server logs, to deliver the site securely and keep it working.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not set any cookies on this website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To reply to you and continue our conversation: our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, or, where you're asking about using our services, steps you've asked us to take before a possible contract.

Who we share it with. Our hosting and email provider, Fasthosts Internet Ltd, processes data on our behalf. We don't sell your data or share it for marketing. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Where it's stored. Our provider hosts our website and email. If any personal data is transferred outside the UK, we'll make sure appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law are in place.

How long we keep it. Emails: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless we need them longer for an ongoing business relationship or a legal reason. Server logs: for the limited period set by our hosting provider.

Your rights. You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive a copy of data you gave us. Email ben@bangstech.co.uk; we'll respond within one month.
